I’ve spent the last 14 months on sabbatical from the office, concentrating on writing and mental MOTs. Now, alas (although my bank is happier), that time of 10am wake up calls and editing in the park is over. I went back to the corporate world at the beginning of this week.
The immediate effect will be a greatly decreased rate of blog posts. One a week will be the new target, in fact. But better sparse and interesting than regular and dull, right? This week’s will be words of wisdom from Browne & King’s Self Editing for Fiction Writers, which seminal work had a massive impact on my writing style. So check back on Thursday for that.
See you on the other side of an Excel spreadsheet!
